Job Title:  Job Captain - Retail

 

Location:   Las Vegas, Nevada

 

Job Description:   Nadel Architects is looking for a talented and self-motivated Job Captain to join our Las Vegas team. Qualified candidates are responsible for preparing a set of working drawings and specifications with general guidance from a Project Architect

This is intended to be a long-term position and an opportunity to develop one’s career in a highly professional setting.

 

Job Requirements: 

The ideal candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Revit a must

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • 5-8 years in Retail Architecture

  • Ability to grow professionally

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Detailed knowledge of all applicable current building codes

  • Delegation of work and mentoring of drafting/CAD staff with regard to architectural interpretation, CAD/Revit standards and practices

  • Coordination of working drawings and specifications within the project team, including consultants

  • General understanding of project budgeting and time management

  • Administration of construction documents, and adherence to firm standards

  • Maintain organized project files

  • Filing for and maintaining building permits

  • Oversight, coordination, and production of contract documents (drawings and specifications)

  • Review of shop drawing submittals and responding to RFIs

Project Architect

Job Title: Project Architect

 

Location:   Las Vegas, Nevada

 

Job Description:   Nadel Architects is looking for a talented and self-motivated Project Architect to join our Las Vegas team with experience in a variety of building types including Commercial and Mixed-Use. Qualified candidates should be design-sensitive, aspirational, and informed in terms of current design strategies, familiar with various building types and construction systems, able to work effectively as part of an overall design team, and able to quickly generate drawings using Revit and AutoCad programs.

This is intended to be a long-term position and an opportunity to develop one’s career in a highly professional setting.

 

Job Requirements: 

The ideal candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Revit and ACAD

  • Demonstrated design capabilities

  • Ability to grow professionally, and ultimately work directly with clients

  • 10 to 15 years' experience

  • Minimum Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited four-year university

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Working on licensure or already obtained.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Overall project performance by meeting profitability, budget, and timeline goals

  • Strategic project planning by interpreting, organizing, scheduling, and managing projects through all phases of development

  • Implementing processes to reduce risk and exposure in all phases of a project

  • Establishing project schedule, maintaining the schedule as project progresses and communicating with clients, consultants, and designers as milestones are met or change

  • Holding kick off meetings, milestone, and progress meetings to ensure the team meets the established project schedule. Making regular progress updates

  • Providing supervision and guidance to other team members

  • Communicating with clients

  • Maintaining ongoing positive and productive client relationships ensuring projects meet or exceed clients' expectations

  • Acting as a mentor, promoting the professional development of junior staff through proactive coaching, acting as a resource to help solve design problems, and providing performance enhancing feedback to team members
