Job Description:   Nadel Architects is looking for a talented and self-motivated Job Captain to join our Los Angeles team. Qualified candidates are responsible for preparing a set of working drawings and specifications with general guidance from a Project Architect

Job Requirements: 

The ideal candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Proficiency in Revit a must

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• 5-8 years in Retail Architecture

• Ability to grow professionally

Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Detailed knowledge of all applicable current building codes

• Delegation of work and mentoring of drafting/CAD staff with regard to architectural interpretation, CAD/Revit standards and practices

• Coordination of working drawings and specifications within the project team, including consultants

• General understanding of project budgeting and time management

• Administration of construction documents, and adherence to firm standards

• Maintain organized project files

• Filing for and maintaining building permits

• Oversight, coordination, and production of contract documents (drawings and specifications)

• Review of shop drawing submittals and responding to RFIs
