As Principal and Director of Multifamily & Infill Housing at Nadel Architects, Martin leads a studio dedicated to delivering high-performing multifamily and mixed-use developments across California and the Southwest. With 23 years of experience in multifamily, urban infill, and complex entitlement environments, Martin works closely with developers, REITs, owners, and investors to align design with pro-formas, jurisdictional incentives, and sophisticated execution.
Martin's team specializes in podium, wrap, tower, and innovative infill typologies ranging from 90 to 900 units. They focus on projects that respond to today’s housing challenges—whether redeveloping underutilized suburban sites, leveraging state and local density programs, or delivering high-quality P3 housing.
The studio's mission is clear: to deliver high-quality, livable housing that supports health, community, and long-term value. At Nadel, Martin is proud to help extend a 50+ year legacy of design excellence and delivery across the West’s most dynamic housing markets.
Martin is licensed by the California Architects Board and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute where he serves on the Advisory Board and chairs the Mobility Council. Previously, he chaired the AIA Urban Design Committee.
