Nadel Celebrates 50th Anniversary


Nadel Architecture and Planning is honored to celebrate our 50th anniversary! This year marked 50 years since Herb Nadel founded our firm. In the five decades since, Nadel has been fortunate to weave ourselves into the fabric of Southern California with distinguished clients, timeless projects, and dedicated team members. Nadel looks forward to an exciting future of continued architectural excellence.

Nadel Designed Vercanta Apartments Renovation Marks Completion


Nadel designed a complete interior and exterior renovation of Vercanta, 147 units of two-story, garden-style apartments located in the upscale market of Newport Beach, California. The renovation included a gut renovation of all units, a new 1,400 SF proscenium building, a new 2,500 SF fitness center building and a new pool and pool deck.





Rise Koreatown

The Rise Koreatown Wins Best Mixed Use Project


The Rise Koreatown was awarded the bronze award for best mixed-use/retail project by the Los Angeles Business Journal Commercial Real Estate Awards. With the multifamily portion completed earlier this year, the Rise Koreatown won a similar honor last year winning the PCBC Gold Nugget Award of Merit for best mixed-use project. Congratulations to the Nadel Multifamily/Mixed-Use team on yet another fantastic honor!

Nadel Releases 2023 Retailer List

Rise Koreatown

Nadel Marks Completion of Multifamily Portion of Rise Koreatown


Nadel completed phase one of The Rise Koreatown, a 688,000 square-foot, seven-story mixed-use residential and retail project located in the heart of the Koreatown neighborhood of central LA. Phase one completion concludes construction of the multifamily residential portion of The Rise Koreatown development, including over 300 apartment units and amenities such as a fitness center, swimming pool, and clubroom. Phase two, the retail portion, is slated to be completed in early 2024.

Nadel Launches New Blog Series with Building Design + Construction


Nadel launched a new blog series with Building Design + Construction! Our first article in the new series, authored by Chairman Greg Lyon and Marketing Coordinator Josh Loree, explored the conversion of vacant downtown office space to residential and if the outcome is what's best for downtowns. Paradox Museum

Nadel Las Vegas Completes Paradox Museum


Earlier this summer, Nadel Las Vegas completed work on the Paradox Museum in Las Vegas. The 10,714 sf experiential venue is part of the Showcase Mall expansion. The museum houses unique exhibit rooms that defy reality with over 90 interactive experiences and a gift shop for guests to enjoy with their family and friends. Many exhibits are themed with a Las Vegas connection, such as an Elvis Wedding Chapel, Poker Table and Slot Machines. Paradox Museum is headquartered in Athens, Greece and has 7 locations globally, with an additional four opening soon.
